Mission and Objectives
Mission
The mission of the Boone County Indicators Coalition (BIC) is to provide accurate and meaningful information about the socioeconomic status of Boone County residents to better inform human services planning and to increase public awareness. In order to effectively carry out this mission, the coalition includes representatives from the health and human services, government and education agencies.
Objectives
1) To establish a continuing coalition of health and human services, government and education agencies that carry out the mission of BIC.
2) To develop Boone Indicators, an annual report developed primarily to support strategic planning and grant writing. The report will detail the indicators to be listed under each of the following categories:
Aging Basic Needs Children and Families

3) Communicate this information to the public via an annually updated website.
